Save a webpage, an X post, or a YouTube video to your private Epic Explanations bookmarks.

Install in Chrome

Download and unzip the extension.
Open chrome://extensions in Chrome and turn on Developer mode.
Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped explanation-studio-chrome folder.
Pin Epic Explanations using Chrome’s extensions menu.

This is a direct download. It is not listed in the Chrome Web Store.

Three ways to bookmark

Any webpage: click the E icon in Chrome’s toolbar. The popup confirms the save.
X: click the E button beside a post’s bookmark or share action.
YouTube: choose Save explanation beside Share under a video. Shorts have an E button in their action row.

Sign in with ChatGPT if prompted. A successful save appears in My studio → Bookmarks. Captures stay private and do not enter the reviewed library.

If a save is interrupted

Pending saves survive Chrome restarts. Open the extension’s Pending saves page to retry an unconfirmed save or discard a paused one. An account change pauses a save instead of moving it to another account.

Refresh X and YouTube tabs after installing or updating the extension. The toolbar action remains available if a site changes its button layout.
